Melynda is a native of Arizona where she graduated from Arizona State University with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing as Cum Laude.  She then spent the next 5 years as an active duty officer in the Air Force Nurse Corps.  In 2006, Melynda graduated from Indiana University with a Masters of Science in Nursing degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.  She received the Academic Achievement Award for a 4.0 GPA.  She worked in Internal Medicine for a short while before returning back to school for a Post Masters Certificate in Family Health.  Melynda is double board certified as both an Adult and Family Nurse Practtioner.  She is the mother of three beautiful boys and resides in Fishers.  She enjoys reading, playing the piano, road biking, and tennis.
